We are licensed and insured automotive technicians. We travel to your vehicle to perform most maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services from the comfort of your home or in the parking lot while you work.
We serve Delaware County and surrounding areas. If you're located outside of Delaware County, a travel fee may apply.
Our diagnostic rates start at $120/hr with a 1hr minimum. Every job is different so we're unable to offer online estimates for maintenance and repairs at this time. Drop us a line or give us a call at 484-474-0335 for an estimate.
We accept cash, all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App. Unfortunately we do not accept personal checks or Apple Pay at this time.
We may request a $60 deposit to secure an appointment time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please reach out as soon as possible at 484-474-0335. No-shows, reschedules, cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment result in forfeiture of the deposit. If more than 24 hours notice is provided, the deposit will be refunded. This deposit may be applied to the total cost of the service.
We love teaching our customers about their vehicles and will gladly take the opportunity to explain what services are being performed and why your vehicle needs the recommended services. For insurance and liability reasons, we respectfully ask that customers (as well as family and pets) stay ~10' away from the vehicle while services are being performed.
The safety of our mechanics is a top priority. If the vehicle will need to be raised and placed on jack stands, then we require a flat area with at least 4' of empty space in all directions to safely perform the service. We are happy to perform most services at any major auto parts store if your residence or work does not have sufficient space to safely perform the required services.

Please note that we are unable to offer engine/transmission replacements, tire replacements, and most body work. These jobs require specialized tools which are difficult to transport to your home or work and often involve multiple days of labor. We're happy to refer you to a local brick and mortar shop for these services.
We do not offer these services. However, we'd be happy to refer you to a local shop to assist you with those projects.
Yes, we allow customers to provide their own parts under the following conditions:
1) If the wrong parts are supplied, the appointment will be treated as a no-show and a $30 cancellation fee will be charged.
2) We do not warranty parts supplied by the customer. For example, if a customer supplies a defective part or it fails shortly after installation, we will charge our standard labor rate to remove and replace the defective part. Parts supplied by E&J Mobile Mechanics are eligible for full warranty including parts cost and labor.
